Andere Tierarten, die in der Gegend vorkommen, sind Rappenantilopen, Elefantenspitzmaus, Buschschwanzmangusten und andere kleine S\u00e4ugetiere wie Flughunde. Der Wald ist ein wichtiges Vogelgebiet und mit einer Waldvogelwelt ausgestattet, w\u00e4hrend das Grasland lokale Arten wie das Rothalsspornhuhn, die Croaking Cisticola und den Sansibar Red Bishop beherbergt. Die malerischen Sheldrick Falls und der dichte Mwaluganje Forest sind hier ebenfalls zu finden, zusammen mit vier Campingpl\u00e4tzen.
