We saw a pride of lions and hoards of buffalo and many other animals. Badry (the driver) was extremely knowledgeable about the park and animals and really helped us have the best possible experience. We stayed at the Sopa Lodge in both places. The staff in both lodges went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. As for our guide, Richard, he was the one who completely made our stay even better. From the moment he picked us up from our hotel to the 4 days we were with him, he was very professional, kind, and very knowledgeable. The food was consistently excellent, with a great variety and quality that exceeded our expectations.\n\nA special highlight of the trip was our drivers. They were incredibly friendly, always helpful, and brought so much positive energy to each day. They were highly knowledgeable and informative about the wildlife and surroundings. Thanks to their expertise, we were lucky enough to see all of the Big 5 across both Masai Mara and Serengeti National Park, which was beyond anything we had hoped for. Staying at Jambo Mara Lodge in the glass cottage was magical, with breathtaking views and total immersion in nature. The food was fantastic and consistently exceeded expectations.\n\nOur guide, Ali, was outstanding: knowledgeable, warm, and passionate. He made every game drive smooth, exciting, and memorable, and we always felt safe and comfortable. He found some lionesses on his own, and we were able to be alone with them which was such a unique part of our journey.
