DAY 1: NAIROBI FLY TO SAMBURU

  • Pick up from your hotel in Nairobi at 8.00 am and transfer to Wilson Airport.
  • Check-in and wait to board flight Samburu that departs at 10.00 am arriving Samburu at 11.00 am.
  • On arrival you will be met by our driver guide and be transferred to your respective camp.
  • Head out for an afternoon game drive in the reserve which is rich in wildlife with fame for abundance in rare northern specialist species such as the Grevy Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk, and the Beisa Oryx (Also referred to as Samburu Special) until sunset. The reserve is also popular with a minimum of 900 elephants.
  • Return to the lodge or camp for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 2: SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE

  • Early Breakfast at the camp or lodge
  • After breakfast proceed for a morning game drive in the Samburu National Reserve for sunrise game drives until noon.
  • Keer terug naar de lodge voor een warme lunch.
  • Ontspan en geniet van hotelvoorzieningen zoals het zwembad, enz.
  • Ga daarna op avondsafari tot de Afrikaanse zonsondergang.
  • Keer terug naar het kamp of de lodge voor diner en overnachting.

DAG 3: SAMBURU RESERVE VLUCHT NAAR MASAI MARA

  • Vroeg ontbijt in de lodge of het kamp.
  • Check uit en rijd naar de landingsbaan met onderweg safariritten om de vlucht terug naar Nairobi om 11.00 uur te halen, aankomst in Nairobi om 12.00 uur.
  • Bij aankomst op Wilson Airport stapt u om 14.00 uur aan boord van de volgende vlucht naar Masai Mara.
  • Bij aankomst in Masai Mara wordt u op de landingsbaan opgewacht door onze chauffeur/gids en naar uw kamp of lodge gebracht met onderweg safariritten binnen het Masai Mara National Reserve.
  • Aankomst voor een late lunch, inchecken in het kamp of de lodge en ontspanning.
  • Daarna gaat u in de avond op een avondsafaririt binnen het Masai Mara National Reserve tot de Afrikaanse zonsondergang.
  • Keer terug naar de lodge voor diner en overnachting.

DAG 4: MASAI MARA SAFARIRITEN

  • Vroeg ontbijt in het kamp of de lodge.
  • Na het ontbijt vertrekken gasten vroeg in de ochtend voor een volledige dag in het Masai Mara National Reserve op zoek naar de Big Five van Afrika onder het open dak van een safarivoertuig, met een lunchpakket dat als picknicklunch wordt geserveerd in de wilde savanne. De Big Five van Afrika bestaan uit de Afrikaanse olifant, de leeuw, de neushoorn, de buffel en de luipaard, evenals een verscheidenheid aan vogelsoorten van meer dan 200 soorten en herbivoren zoals zebra’s en gnoes in grote aantallen onderweg naar de Grote Mara-rivier waar het 8e wereldwonder elk jaar plaatsvindt van juli tot augustus, genaamd De Grote Gnoemigratie. Je zult dit geweldige wildlife bekijken tijdens de volledige dag gamedrive vanuit het open dak van het voertuig voor uitstekende uitzichten en fotografie tot laat in de middag.
  • Keer terug naar de lodge voor diner en overnachting in het kamp of de lodge.

DAG 5: MASAI MARA VLUCHT NAAR NAIROBI

  • Vroeg ontbijt in het kamp of de lodge.
  • Geniet van een game drive bij zonsopgang in het Masai Mara National Reserve waar je de kans krijgt om wildlife te bewonderen vanuit het open dak van het voertuig met een zonsopgang als achtergrond voor fotografie.
  • Daarna kunnen gasten, indien gewenst, het Masai-culturele dorp bezoeken (optioneel @ $ 20 per persoon) terwijl ze terugrijden naar Nairobi.
  • Rijd naar de landingsbaan en neem de vlucht om 14.00 uur terug naar Wilson Airport.
  • Bij aankomst zal onze vertegenwoordiger u opwachten en u naar uw hotel in Nairobi brengen.
