I would highly recommend Mufasa Tours for your travel and excursion needs. I communicated with Joe Wakaba who was very responsive and clear over email.

I had a problem with my online payment due to WiFi issues, but Joseph was very reassuring that everything would work out just fine.

An unforgettable safari experience!

As a French couple, we spent 5 nights and 6 days on safari in Kenya and it was an incredible adventure that we will remember for a long time!

We had the chance to discover the beauty of the savannah and its incredible wildlife. The excitement of searching for animals and seeing them in their natural habitat was truly unforgettable. But what made this trip even more special was the people we met along the way.

A very special mention goes to our two guides, Mr. Muturi and James. We formed a very special bond with Muturi, an exceptionally kind and wonderful person whom we feel truly lucky to have met. Unfortunately, due to a family matter, he had to leave us partway through the trip and James continued the journey with us. James was also an outstanding guide: he went above and beyond to help us spot as many animals as possible, shared his passion for wildlife and impressed us with his kindness, generosity and dedication. We are incredibly grateful to both of them for making our safari so special.

We also loved the warm welcome we received from the Kenyan people throughout our stay. Everyone we met in the different hotels was incredibly friendly and welcoming.

If there is one area that could be improved, it would be to provide more locally owned accommodations to support Kenyan businesses & communities.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience and highly recommend this safari! Beyond the incredible wildlife, it was the human connections that truly made this journey unforgettable. From the beginning to the end of our 18-day trip to Kenya, everything was very well organized. Both guides (Kevin and Justin) during the safari were incredibly good. I would also like to give special thanks to the entire Mufasa team for their incredible support throughout my trip. They were always responsive, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything went smoothly. Whenever I had a request or concern, they took it seriously and did their best to help me.

And a very special thank you to my guide, Sam. He was honestly the best guide I have ever had. He was caring, attentive, and always made sure I was comfortable and enjoying the safari. His knowledge about Kenya, wildlife, and the animals was amazing, and he explained everything with so much passion.

Sam made every game drive exciting and meaningful. Thanks to his experience and support, I was able to see so many incredible animals and enjoy every moment of the safari.

Our Kenya trip was planned excellently by Mufasa Tours and we wont hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to travel to East Africa.

Kanana who handled our booking was extremely responsive and was accommodating of multiple schedule changes on short notice. She gave us great recommendations based on our requirements and made the booking process a breeze.

Our guide and now friend, Dan made the trip one of our most enjoyable in recent memory. He was professional, knowledgable, and always willing to go out of his way to make sure we had the best experience.

In just 1.5 days and two trips to the park I saw the amazing Big 5 and so much more!

We received a competitive quote and decided to go ahead with Mufasa Tours and Travels. The planning was straightforward, and the trip was delivered as promised, with no unexpected charges or hiccups. We chose Jumbo Mara from the accommodation options and requested a glass cottage, which was lovely and just as expected. All meals were included, and the lunch box for our game drive was very convenient. Our only small disappointment was being charged separately for water and morning tea or coffee. We understand these charges are set by the accommodation provider, but it would have been helpful to know about them in advance.
Richard was a fantastic guide and a top man. He picked us up in Nairobi, drove us to the Masai Mara and brought us safely back, stopping for breaks whenever we asked. He shared valuable information about the Maasai people and knew the safari tracks well, keeping in touch with other drivers to help us spot rare animals. We saw giraffes, elephants, wildebeest and lions, including lions mating, and had the thrilling experience of elephants marching through the safari jeeps. When we dropped our binoculars near a cheetah, Richard bravely retrieved them while keeping safety in mind.
Overall, the trip was memorable, well organised and excellent value. We would happily recommend Mufasa Tours and Travels—and Richard—to friends and family.
