 Verified Amazing experiences and comfortable trip!
Mufasa organized an amazing safari vacation for our family. We were quite concerned as we were travelling with 2 young kids but Ibrahim (our guide) was amazing as he made sure we were comfortable and all our needs were catered to. The lodges were all amazing and again Mufasa ensured that our kids were either in the same large room or in attached rooms. As vegetarians we were concerned about the arrangements but the lodges were very accommodating. The safaris themselves were an amazing experience. Ibrahim has a wonderful knowledge of the Kenyan wildlife and was able to to guide us to amazing experiences. I would highly recommend Mufasa and Ibrahim as a guide.

We had spent a lot of time researching tour companies before booking with Mufasa. Their team was responsive to our many questions and put together a customized itinerary that covered all of our dream destinations in Kenya. This was by far the most expensive trip we have ever booked but it was worth every shilling. Our guides Kevin and Leonard as well as the drivers John, (the other) Kevin, and Paul were reliable, skillful, knowledgeable and kind. We had never been on a safari before and went on a 15-day once-in-a-lifetime trip across Kenya that was absolutely mind-blowing. The accommodations were top-notch and the game drives endlessly exciting. We saw much more wildlife than we expected and learned a ton about Kenya's incredible nature. Muturi and Leonard our tour guides/drivers were good natured and really kept 10 of our family members safe and gave us an informative and entertaining tour of Masai mara. The boat safari was surreal and a must do en route from Nakuru to Masai mara. They were very trustworthy and even helped us retrieve our items left behind at previous hotel. Kids thought they were super funny and on a real adventure. With their help, We were able to seek out 5 lions, a few elephants, rhinos, hippos, antelopes, gazelles, storks, vultures and picturesque view of wilder-beast migration. I cannot believe how many animals we saw! Our tour guide and driver Hosea was very connected and knew the best places to view our favorite animals. He was always on time and flexible if we wanted to take more time in-between game drives. Our group has so many questions and Hosea was extremely knowledgeable. I learned more than I thought I would and never had a bad day even when spending so much time with my family. Would definitely use Mufasa tours and Hosea everytime we visit Kenya. Having just returned from a 10 day Kenyan safari with 4 days at Diani beach, we wish there was an option for 6 stars for Mufasa tours. From start to finish they have been excellent; from Caroline regularly keeping in touch and suggesting an itinerary, to the drivers and hotel staff implementing the trip. Our safari driver, Dan, was extremely knowledgable, not only about wildlife but the country in general. He was calm under pressure and reliable during the long drives. We went for a mid-range tour and were extremely pleased with the standard of accommodation, and the food throughout the trip exceeded expectations. The wildlife speaks for itself and although there is always an element of luck, Dan’s intimate knowledge of each park paid dividends in spotting almost everything we wanted to see.
