Odhis the Swahili Safari photo hunter You want a Swahili hunter guide like Odhis from Mufasa tours to get up and personal with the Lion, Rhino, Crocodile, Cheetah, Leopard, and Elephants. He is the man in terms of safely getting you there, getting close to see the carnage of Mother Nature hunts, and finding all the photogenic spots in Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, and Maasai Mara. He is pleasant and peaceful with the animals and people 😉 in Amboseli we saw the bill elephants with giant tusks to the ground. We stayed at the Kibo Safari camp. Lake Nakuru with pink flamingos and white Rhino. Also we saw the water buffalo and buffalo solider-ja.we stayed at the Sopa Lodge. In Maasai Mara he brought the Mufasa to Mufasa tours with a lion hunt and kill all witnesses within 5 meters of the Land Cruiser. Not to mention the leopard, hippos, pumba, maribu stalk birds, and other exotic birds while we picnicked under a Serengeti tree and watched the blue sky and clouds pass us by in a wonderful world Odhis knows best. In Maasai Mara we stayed at Mara Maisha lodge. We saw the BIG 5 plus so many more like cheetah, hippos, and wildebeast crossing at Mara river.Highly recommend you ask for him in a Safari!!!

Exceptional Safari Experience I just had an incredible experience with Mufasa Tours and Travels Ltd! Everything went smoothly from start to finish, and my wife and I had an amazing time. Our guide, Collin, was an absolute superstar. He worked tirelessly to ensure that our experience was nothing short of fantastic, and thanks to his efforts, we were fortunate to witness the 'Big Five'.!!! I cannot recommend this agency enough. It was our first visit to Kenya, and going on a safari was a dream come true. We are leaving with hearts full of gratitude and wonderful memories. Mufasa Tours and Travels Ltd, you'll forever hold a special place in our hearts!

Outstanding Safari Experience We recently embarked on a 9-day safari adventure in Kenya with Mufasa Tours and Travels, and it was an absolutely incredible experience. Our guide, Kevin, deserves special recognition for making this journey unforgettable. From the moment we set foot in the wild, Kevin's outstanding knowledge of the local wildlife and birdlife left us in awe. His ability to spot and identify animals and birds was nothing short of remarkable. Kevin was not only a superb guide but also an exceptional driver. His skills behind the wheel ensured that we had a safe and comfortable journey throughout our safari. His passion for the natural world was evident in every moment we spent with him. We would highly recommend requesting Kevin as your guide when booking a safari with Mufasa Tours and Travels!

Safari of a LifeTime We were a group of 5 adults and 3 kids from US [originally from India]. We had no clue about Kenya or safari in general. Went with the awesome online reviews of Mufasa and now I can honestly say why they show 5 star. Our trip was from Aug 2 to Aug 11. We were received by Musafa folks at Nairobi airport and promptly taken to local airport for a flight to Masai Mara. We stayed at Neptune in Masai Mara and the camps are just amazing. The food was awesome and they customized dinner to satisfy our Indian palate and our kids american demands. I never thought we can get panner butter masala, naan and cheeseburger/fries at the most remote location in middle of masai mara. We were actually quite surprised at how easily indian food was available even in the most remote locations of Kenya. The game drives were long and awesome. We saw tons of animals, had picnic lunches in middle of mara. /*The only issue I can comment on was the distance between Neptune and Masai Mara entrance which was a solid 40 min drive and also Neptune did not have rights to Mara North meaning if you see an animal in Mara North region your driver will not be able to stop the vehicle. But again Muafasa has got nothing to do with this issue.*/ Next we headed to Lake Nakuru and stayed at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge. The lodge was alright and not the best but it was compensated by the awesome flamingo and rhino sightings. After spending a night at Nakuru we headed to Lake Naivasha and had a great boat ride, eventually heading over to Amboselli. We stayed at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge and the park experience was just awesome. Amboselli being a smaller park and lodge being literally inside, we were able to go for game drives within 5 minutes of the lodge. From Amboselli we came back to Nairobi and stayed at Hilton near the Airport as our flight was next day and it enabled us to get fresh and ready for our long journey back to US. Last but not least our guide/driver Charles was a wealth of knowledge. Right from the moment he picked us up at masai mara airport till the time he dropped us in Hilton Nairobi we enjoyed every bit of his conversation and his knowledge sharing about animals/safari and kenya. If you are thinking of Safari in Kenya all I can say is download Whatsapp and just send a txt to Mufasa, you will have an experience of a lifetime.

Best Safari Experience We did a group Safari with 22 Family members and Joel helped us to customize the whole Trip to accomodate our wishes. He was very responsive and helpful with all the crazy questions we had and very patient with us. We totally went blind when we booked with Mufasa, we read their reviews, asked for quotation and went for it, and it was the best decision we made. By Mufasa the small guests are also Welcomed. We had 2 Babies on Board the Jeeps and on request they Provided us with carseats for them which was very practical as the Babies could also experience and discover the animals. We got the best of tour guides, Muturi, Leonard and Kephar. They are a gem. Their knowledge of the animals was impressive. They are kind and friendly. Full of humor and made this whole trip memorable. They made sure we get to see the Big Five in Maasai Mara and Rhinos in Lake Nakuru. They made sure we enjoyed every single moment. We went as a family and they won’t stop praising about the experience. Apart from that they are very helpful to other drivers who are in trouble... Like pulling others out when stuck, helped Others to Change their burst tires... These actions spoke millions. In Maasai Mara we spent 2 nights at Enkorok mara camp, it was a nice experience in the tents. The staff were friendly and the Food was delicious. In Lake Nakuru we stayed at the Lake Nakuru Lodge for 1 night and all was also very nice. We met as strangers but left as friends. Lovely Mufasa Family. MUFASA is without a doubt the best choice we Made.

A memorable journey through Kenya We started our trip from Machakis where we met up with our guide Julius. The next 4 days with him have been a blast. Everyday kept getting better and better as we explored Amboselli for 2 days, Lake Nivasha and closing out our journey at Nakuru. Julius was super charismatic and went out of his way to make this trip memorable with all the animals we spotted. 100% would recommend to visit kenya with Mufasa..

My dream Africa safari Embarking on a wildlife safari has always been a dream of mine, and Mufasa Tour and Travels turned that dream into an extraordinary reality. I had a lot of questions before the tour and Joe was patient to answer all my queries. From the moment I joined the tour, it was evident that this was going to be a remarkable experience. The tour covered an impressive itinerary, spanning Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, Lake Elementaita, and the iconic Maasai Mara. Amboseli National Park greeted us with awe-inspiring vistas of Mount Kilimanjaro as the backdrop to a diverse array of wildlife. The harmonious coexistence of elephants, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests against this magnificent natural canvas was simply breathtaking. As we moved to Lake Naivasha and explored its serene waters, the sight of numerous bird species and the playful antics of hippos left an indelible mark. Lake Nakuru's shores painted a surreal picture with flocks of vibrant flamingos, forming a sea of pink against the glistening water. We spotted the rare black rhino here and a lot of white rhinos as well. The conservation efforts here were evident, and our guide, Hosea, was a wealth of knowledge about the ecosystem and its inhabitants. The day spent at Lake Elementaita was equally captivating, showcasing the rich diversity of birdlife and providing a tranquil atmosphere for reflection. However, it was the Maasai Mara that truly stole the show. The opportunity to witness the Big Five - lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard - in their natural habitat was beyond words. Hosea's expertise shone brightly as he skillfully guided us through the Mara's vast plains, ensuring we encountered not only the iconic species but also the intricate web of life that thrives here. The sight of a lioness and her cubs, a rare glimpse of a leopard lounging in a tree, and the raw power of a herd of elephants left us spellbound. Speaking of Hosea, his dedication, passion, and deep understanding of the wildlife and culture were the backbone of this tour. He went the extra mile to share insights about the animals, local communities, and conservation efforts, fostering a deep connection with the environment around us. Mufasa Tour and Travels' meticulous planning and attention to detail were evident at every turn. From seamless transportation to well-appointed accommodations that embraced the essence of each location, they left no stone unturned in making this journey an unforgettable one. The warmth and hospitality extended by their team added a personal touch that elevated the entire experience. In conclusion, my 8-night adventure with Mufasa Tour and Travels was an exploration of Kenya's breathtaking natural beauty, abundant wildlife, and rich culture. This journey left me humbled by the wonders of nature and inspired by the dedicated individuals who work tirelessly to conserve it. I wholeheartedly recommend Mufasa Tour and Travels to anyone seeking an immersive, educational, and profoundly moving safari experience.

An Unforgettable Safari Adventure Embarking on a safari adventure was on my wishlist for a long, and I can confidently say that my experience with Mufasa Tours exceeded all my expectations. From the moment of getting down at Nairobi airport and stepping into the Safari Jeep, I knew I was in for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Joseph did help me select the right package and guided me through my 5-day Safari experience. Pre-booking a plan was easy and hassle-free (he did help me to alter the quotes as time and again requested changes in date and visitors, thanks Joe). The camp/hotel options suggested were very comfortable and safe especially for my 8 years son for his first international visit and first safari even. Hosea, our expert safari guide was a treasure trove of knowledge. A gem of a person, his passion for wildlife and the environment shone through as he shared fascinating facts about each species we encountered. His ability to spot even the most elusive creatures added a sense of excitement to each game drive. I was lucky enough to witness breath-taking moments, such as a pride of lions, and a majestic elephant herd crossing. Hosea is very friendly and makes sure you have a comfortable drive and memorable game drive. The accommodation was top-notch, blending seamlessly with the surrounding landscape. The Camp staff's warmth and attentiveness made us feel truly at home despite being in the heart of the wild. One of the most memorable aspects of the safari was the opportunity to interact with locals. It was heartening to see how tourism has positively impacted the lives of the local people through various community development projects. While on safari, we felt a deep sense of responsibility to protect the environment and support conservation. It was evident that the Mufasa Tourism were dedicated to sustainable tourism practices, minimizing their impact on the ecosystem. The memories of witnessing the circle of life in action, the breathtaking sunsets over the savannah, and the camaraderie shared with the guide will bring us back to visit Kenya again, and when I plan, it will be with Mufasa Tours. Thank you Joe, Thank you Hosea, Thank you Mufasa Cheers!!

Kenya Safari Booked a 5-day solo safari trip with Mufasa Tours a couple months in advance. Caroline made the process very easy and was informative in providing details and answering questions. I was picked up at the Nairobi airport by my guide Julius in a land cruiser and off we went. Over the 5 days we hit Ol Pejeta, Lake Nakuru, and Maasai Mara. Each day was amazing and it only got better as the week went on. Julius was fantastic and I could not have asked for a better guide. He is well experienced having done tours for many years and was extremely pleasant to be around. He provided many interesting facts on the things we came across and played Kenyan hip-hop and reggae in the lengthy car rides which was a great vibe. The very first day, we saw 4 of the Big 5 (excluding the cheetah, which we saw the second day). Throughout the week, we saw all of the safari animals (too many to list!) besides the kudu, which resides in different regions than what we visited. A few of the countless highlights from each park: - Ol Pejeta: Pet the blind rhino Baraka, chimpanzee chased another playfully with a giant sharp stick - Lake Nakuru: A few thousand flamingos clustered at the lake, young lion cub that looked like Simba - Maasai Mara: jackal hunting a baby gazelle while the mother successfully distracted it, crocodiles feasting and fighting over a dead wildebeest, leopard feasting on its kill in a tree, wildebeests/zebras river crossing The final day, in the Maasai Mara, I was able to witness what I was most looking forward to, the Great Migration. We drove among massive herds which numbered in the tens of thousands and stretched for miles. It was a truly fascinating and magical experience which I will never forget, being among the sheer numbers of wildebeests and zebras. By the end of the tour, I had seen so many animals that I did not even do a double take when passing an elephant or giraffe. If you are at all interested in wildlife, enjoy the zoo, or watch Animal Planet, the safari experience is one you cannot miss!
