Had the dream 7 day mid-range safari in Kenya and Tanzania, right out of a national geographic documentary. We had close encounters with the Big 5 in Kenya, saw 3 wildebeest crossings in North Serengeti and 10 lions devouring a buffalo in Seronera.Would like to thank our superb guides. Walter in Kenya for being so upbeat, friendly, knowledgeable and in-tune with the animals. Ali in Tanzania for his deep familiarity of the terrain and expertly taking us to the centre of action at just the right time.The lodges were all comfortable and clean, with good service. We booked our 3 safari tours with Mufasa in September-October. We were so lucky to have Kevin as our guide. He drove us around for a week in the Masai Mara, Amboseli and Tsavo West national parks. Kevin is a walking encyclopedia of wildlife and a specialist in birds. He was able to identify every bird we saw by looking or listening to them. He gave us cool information about animals that we saw along the way and was very knowledgeable of the best places to drive to see the wildlife. He was very friendly and kind. If I could give Kevin 10 stars, I would.The last day we had also hired a different tour with Mufasa to go to the Nairobi Park. The driver was supposed to pick us up at 6:00am but didn't show up, so after some 20 minutes we contacted the company. They apologized profusely and within an hour and half they sent us another driver, who took us to the park. He offered to be with us for as long as we'd like although we had only booked it for some four hours. They really bent backwards to make it up for us. They even gave us a free ride to the airport as well.Overall, we had an amazing experience with Mufasa. I would recommend them 100%. Asante sana, Mufasa Tours and Kevin! You're the best.

Our private tour through Kenya with Mufasa was excellent! From the very beginning, we communicated smoothly and easily with Caroline, who was always very professional and responsive. Communication remained very easy and efficient during the tour.Our guide was spectacular! Walter is not only very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional but also truly passionate about the animals and his work. We learned a lot from him and had a great time during the game drives and the long drives between parks.  Verified Trip of a lifetime!
My fiancé and I have just been on an 8 day private safari around Kenya and had the most incredible week thanks to Mufasa travels. Our trip included visits to Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, and a visit to a local tribe village and the giraffe centre in Nairobi. When we initially enquired, our contact, Joel, was very helpful in putting together a perfect itinerary for us. He was quick to reply to emails and to make amendments to the itinerary based on our preferences, and answered all of our questions quickly. Everything was very well organised by Joel so we knew the plan and what to expect.When we arrived in Kenya, our tour guide Daniel was waiting for us at the airport. Daniel stayed with us all week, so we really made ourselves at home in his Land Cruiser and got to know him well. Daniel was a brilliant tour guide- he taught us so much about the different animal species, and about Kenyan culture as we drove through different areas. Daniel was happy to answer all of our questions and we learnt a lot about the history of the country. Daniel could spot animals from a mile away and always knew the perfect timings and locations to see the animals! We were able to see all of the big 5 (very close up) and many more! On the second day of our trip, with help from Joel and Daniel with planning, my boyfriend proposed to me in Amboseli! Daniel knew of a private place which made it perfect. As a congratulations present, Mufasa travels upgraded our accommodation in Masai Mara too! All of the accommodations selected by Mufasa travels were very comfortable and had great food (also catering for vegetarian).Overall, our trip to Kenya was the trip of a lifetime.  Verified Amazing experiences and comfortable trip!
Mufasa organized an amazing safari vacation for our family. We were quite concerned as we were travelling with 2 young kids but Ibrahim (our guide) was amazing as he made sure we were comfortable and all our needs were catered to.The lodges were all amazing and again Mufasa ensured that our kids were either in the same large room or in attached rooms. As vegetarians we were concerned about the arrangements but the lodges were very accommodating.The safaris themselves were an amazing experience.
