Exceeded all expectations
Having just returned from a 10 day Kenyan safari with 4 days at Diani beach, we wish there was an option for 6 stars for Mufasa tours. From start to finish they have been excellent; from Caroline regularly keeping in touch and suggesting an itinerary, to the drivers and hotel staff implementing the trip. Our safari driver, Dan, was extremely knowledgable, not only about wildlife but the country in general. He was calm under pressure and reliable during the long drives. We went for a mid-range tour and were extremely pleased with the standard of accommodation, and the food throughout the trip exceeded expectations. The wildlife speaks for itself and although there is always an element of luck, Dan’s intimate knowledge of each park paid dividends in spotting almost everything we wanted to see. Wow wow wow!!! What an incredible experience!! Nelson and Jamleck looked after me and my family (of 14) amazingly!!!! Every morning they met us with beaming smiles, endless enthusiasm and positive vibes. We saw all of the big 5 thanks to their dedication to curating the best possible trip. It was so nice to be given information and facts about the animals and plants which were around. We really appreciated that no question was too much to ask. Best safari experience
We did a 6 days safari and we couldn’t be happier with Mufasa tours. We had a private safari and everything was taken care of and tailored to our needs. Amazing experience with Jamlick!
An incredibke experience fron start to finish. Well organised with helpful information before and during the trip and all transport and other items taken care of. Jamlick, our tour guide, was amazing. His knowledge of the wildlife was very good and was very open and friendly from the start. We are very happy with our 4day 3night safari trip. Lodges and food were amazing ✨Sammy, our guide and driver was great! He took us to the most scenic sights and gave us a chance to really have a moment and appreciate the animals as close as we can get while still maintaining safety. Incredible Safari in Masai Mara
I had booked a safari in Masai Mara region with Mufasa after reading all the positive reviews, and so glad we did. Their communication was great from the begining and they were very responsive. Our original camp was damaged by some flooding the the area so they were able to move us to a new camp that was even nicer! We had Nelson as our driver was so amazing! He is very knoweldgeable about all the animals we saw and knew places where rarer animals were likely hiding. He is also a master driver! We had a 3 day/2 night stay in Kenya and knew we wanted to do a safari. After a lot of research of different tour companies, we saw Mufasa's experiences they offer and read their reviews--we are so happy we did! Our tour guide was Nelson and he was so jovial and helpful (especially after we had a cancelled flight and long day of travelling). Nelson is so skilled in wildlife knowledge and really knew his way around the park/navigating around the very Africa-esque roads lol We stayed at the Ngenche hotel in Masai Mara park and WOW. the room we stayed in and the FOOD ---AMAzING. Me and my husband came for our honeymoon with low expectations on food and luxury on this part of our trip--but Musafa tours, Nelson and Ngenche blew out expectations at of the water. everything is so well organized, clean tidy and the bring GLAMPING to another level. Travels with Mufasa Tours and Travel Agent
We had a wonderful trip (mverified) during this Easter season. We booked with Mufasa Tours and Travel Agent under Kate. Kate was very friendly to us. Everything we had arranged was delivered through her. The vehicle we needed was provided, our needs and wants were catered to fully without hesitation. Our original trip was to Lake Nakuru National (Sopa Lake Nakuru) Kate ensured we were well catered to at the facility liasing with the management etc. After our stay at Sopa Lake Nakuru, we decided we needed an extension to our holiday, she ensured to book for us a place at Sopa Maasai Mara. We were well received and placed in an executive suite as an incentive all prepped and ordered by Kate and management at both Sopa Lake Nakuru and Sopa Mara. We had an adventurous 7 day trip owing it to Mufasa Tours and Travel. I cannot forget to mention our tour guide Evans of Ivantours. Evans ensured we never missed to spot/see/ observe the BIG FIVE that we were interested in both at Lake Nakuru National Park and Masai Mara National Reserve. We spotted all kinds of animals including the elusive Leopard. Came very up close to touching lions at the Mara wueeh it was fantastic to say the least. We got to catch up with a 16 member Lion Pride at the Mara. Elephants, Giraffes, all kinds of grazers etc Leopard, Cheetahs were the elusive ones this time. Best experience ever
Excellent organization of the holiday, everything was thought out, clearly, according to plan! It was very nice to receive gifts from the company (national-style blankets and water bottles). The driver Kefar always found the best places, views, told a lot of interesting things about animals, life in Kenya. It was the best trip of our lives! We have spent 3 weeks in Kenya on a trip organised by Mufasa in June 2024. We started in Nairobi relaxing 1 day in a nice hotel after the long flight from Europe, then visited in 9 days Ol Pejeta, Solio, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Amboseli conservations and at the end spent another 9 days in Baobab resort on Diani Beach. Everything was perfectly organised and we stayed in several beautiful lodges recommended by the travel agency. So we could just enjoy the great Kenya nature and animals and not to care about anything else. Our Safari guide John was very competent and knowledgable and made our Safari trip a really memorable experience. We recommend Mufasa as a great Safari trip organiser.

Unforgettable experience!

We had 3 whole days and 2 half day on game drive in the Masai Mara and had an amazing time. The trip was well organised and considered everything necessary with lots of helpful information prior to us coming.

Our guide Jamlick was incredible. Friendly and open from the word go and clearly knew his stuff about anything we asked. He went above and beyond to make sure we got the best possible safari!

One of the best experiences.

We had a 2 nights and 3 days Masai Mara safari trip with Mufasa. Polly was our point of contact from Mufasa; She planned a perfect itinerary for us, and everything was smoothly. She had given us a checklist.

Our guide- Peter, was a gem of a person. We felt safe with him. He knew where to stop the car so that we can experience best views. He was humble, knowledgeable and patient. Peter took great effort to take us to the right spots in Masai Mara, because of which we were able to experience the beauty of the Big Five, of which we were able to see 4. We loved him and will definitely recommend him.

Our stay was excellent at Zebra Plains. The camp truly gives you a feeling of luxury. Staffs were helpful and humble. The food was excellent. We saw so many animals from the camp as well, which was quite surreal. The only downside was the internet. Sincerely it was perfect!!! I always look at the review and think it’s not real with the 5/5! But we were with my parents, my boyfriend and I and loved it! We had the best guide David french guide. He was responsible, respectful and lots of experience!!! We could not have a better guide. Our accommodation was also excellent. And our car was brand new so lucky! It was a dream safari! Best tour company in Africa!

This is my second time booking a safari with Mufasa and it's exceeded my expectations.  I would not use any other travel company in East Africa.

Mufasa is super fast to respond. They make it so easy to plan and book your safari. They answers all your questions quickly and they made sure I received exactly what I asked for with regards to the lodges I stayed in during the safari. Their commutation is the best and it's why I chose them in the first place. They are honest, reliable and excellent at what they do.

Both safari's I had Hosea as a driver. He was so knowledgeable, hilarious and super accommodating.  He knew exactly where to take me to see the big 5 and went out of his way to make sure I had a great time.

I am already booking my third safari with them at the end of the year. If you are trying to decide which company to use for tour safari I would highly recommend using Mufasa and Hosea.
