Venture into Uganda’s lush forests on a primate tracking safari. Track chimpanzees in Kibale Forest National Park or trek through the misty jungles of Budongo Forest Reserve in search of the elusive and endangered chimpanzees. Along the way, you may encounter other primates, such as colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, and baboons, providing a fascinating insight into their natural behaviors and habitats.

DAY 1: Entebbe To Lake Mburo National Park
Depart Entebbe in the morning and drive southwest through rolling hills, cattle farms, and traditional Ankole landscapes. Enjoy a lunch stop en route.
Arrive at Lake Mburo National Park in the afternoon and check in to your lodge. Later, enjoy an evening game drive or guided nature walk, a unique experience in Lake Mburo where walking safaris are permitted.
Presents a chance to see zebras, impalas, elands, buffaloes, and a wide variety of birdlife. If nature permits.

DAY 2: Lake Mburo National Park To Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
After an early breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive or optional boat cruise on Lake Mburo, offering excellent bird viewing and chances to spot hippos and crocodiles.
Depart Lake Mburo mid-morning and continue south toward Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, passing tea plantations and scenic highlands.
Arrive at your Bwindi lodge in the afternoon. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and preparing for the next day’s gorilla trek.

DAY 3: Gorilla Trekking
After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing before setting out on your gorilla trekking experience. Accompanied by expert guides and rangers, trek through the dense forest in search of a habituated gorilla family.
Once located, you’ll spend one magical hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat — an unforgettable wildlife encounter.
Return to the lodge in the afternoon to relax or enjoy an optional community visit.

DAY 4: Scenic Flight To Entebbe
After breakfast, transfer to Kihihi or Kisoro airstrip for your scheduled domestic flight back to Entebbe.
Arrive in Entebbe in time for your onward international flight, marking the end of your Uganda safari.
