Kampala ⇾ Kibale Forest ⇾ Queen Elizabeth National Park ⇾ Bwindi Impenetrable ⇾ Entebbe

  • DAY 1: Kampala To Kibale Forest

    • Depart Kampala in the morning and embark on a scenic drive to Kibale Forest National Park.
    • Stop for lunch in Fort Portal, continue to your lodge near Kibale Forest and check in to your hotel, camp or lodge.
    • In the evening, enjoy a nature walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a community-run project teeming with bird life, monkeys, and lush swamp vegetation.
    • Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
  • DAY 2: Chimpanzee Trekking and Exploration.

    • Early breakfast, then transfer to the park headquarters for a chimpanzee tracking briefing.
    • Set off into the rain forest with expert guides to track chimpanzees in their natural habitat. Enjoy sightings of other primates such as red-tailed monkeys and black-and-white colobus monkeys.
    • Spend one hour observing the chimpanzees as they interact, play, and feed.
    • Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
    • In the afternoon, visit a local crater lake, hike around the stunning landscape, or enjoy a cultural tour in a nearby community.
    • Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
  • DAY 3: Kibale Forest To Queen Elizabeth National Park

    • After breakfast, depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park. ( About 2.5 Hrs drive depending on traffic )
    • Arrive in time for lunch at the lodge and check-in.
    • In the afternoon, embark on a boat safari on the Kazinga Channel, where you’ll witness large herds of elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and countless bird species.
    • Enjoy a relaxing evening at the lodge with stunning sunset views over the park.
    • Have dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.
  • DAY 4: Queen Elizabeth National Park To Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

    • Early morning game drive in Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth, famous for its tree-climbing lions. Spot elephants, buffaloes, and other wildlife as you traverse the park.
    • Continue your journey through scenic landscapes to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, arriving in the afternoon.
    • Check into your forest lodge and unwind.
    • Enjoy an evening campfire and storytelling session from local guides about gorilla conservation.
    • Have dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.
  • DAY 5: Gorilla Trekking

    • Early breakfast, then transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking etiquette.
    • Set off on an exhilarating trek through Bwindi’s dense jungle, guided by experienced rangers.
    • Once you find a gorilla family, spend an unforgettable hour observing them in their natural habitat. Watch as they interact, care for their young, and go about their daily routines.
    • Return to the lodge for a well-deserved lunch and relaxation.
    • Afternoon at leisure or optional community visit to meet the Batwa pygmies, the indigenous people of the forest.
    • Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge
  • DAY 6: Bwindi Imenetrable To Entebbe

    • Enjoy a relaxed breakfast at the lodge.
    • Transfer to Kihihi or Kisoro Airstrip for your domestic flight back to Entebbe.
    • Upon arrival in Entebbe, transfer to your hotel or connect with your international flight home.
